The Yext Services team partners with some of the world’s largest brands to deliver fully customized and integrated solutions on the Yext Platform. Our dynamic team of Project Managers, Designers, and Engineers collaborates to tackle complex, real-world challenges for enterprise clients, pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity.

We’re excited to host this hackathon contest to discover talented Software Engineers for full-time opportunities at Yext! In this role, you’ll work on a range of projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, developing custom web solutions for enterprise clients. You’ll have a direct impact on shaping innovative features on the Yext Platform, enhancing our ability to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Our team follows a Scrum development process with one-week sprints, peer code reviews, and complete ownership of projects from kickoff through delivery. From day one, you’ll be hands-on with the code, building cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of Yext and our customer’s success. Ready to take on the challenge? Here’s how to get started:

Register for the contest on this page starting 11th October 2024.
If eligible, you’ll receive an email with a test link.
Complete the coding test before 13th November 2024 to showcase your skills and potentially secure an interview for a full-time position.
If you qualify for the Phase 1 challenge, the Yext team will contact you for Phase 2, which is an interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Who should register?

This contest is perfect for you if:
You have 1 to 5 years of experience as a software engineer
You are comfortable with a variety of front-end technologies, specifically React
What we’re looking for:

Front-End Expertise: Build, modify, and maintain web applications with React and Tailwind CSS, ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
Innovative Problem Solving: Improve front-end development tools to boost software quality, speed up iterations, and maintain effective workflows.
Collaborative Mindset: Work seamlessly with Designers, Project Managers, and Engineers, bridging the gap between customer and product teams to deliver top-notch solutions.
Technical Insight: Advise stakeholders on best practices, compatibility concerns, and tradeoffs to help the team make smart decisions.
Clean Code Enthusiast: Write clean, well-structured, and tested code that’s maintainable and scalable.
