Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Engineer / Asst Manager EV Motor Design & Simulation
Responsibilities:
- Design, simulate, and validate electric vehicle (EV) motors for 2-wheelers.
- Conduct electromagnetic, structural, and thermal calculations using Ansys simulation software.
- Collaborate with various departments including vehicle integration, power electronics, and software teams to ensure design approval.
- Lead motor design reviews and coordinate with motor build and testing teams.
Requirements:
- Strong engineering skills and knowledge in 2-wheeler motor design and electromagnetic simulation.
- Hands-on experience with Ansys Maxwell, RmXprt, Femtet, and Simplorer modules.
- Ability to perform design calculations and understand EV motor parts design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with motor testing and load conditions.
- Knowledge of 2 or 3-wheeler electric vehicle systems.
Experience:
- 3 to 7 years of experience in 2-wheeler motor simulation.
- Previous work experience in electric vehicles is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with ANSYS.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/CAE/Machine Design.
